17.08.20. to 21.08.20.

Carrying on with current practice we check for new HB claims then new UC/CTR claims first each day. Then we have our allocations of ATLAS and VEPS to do after which we concentrate on our matched work, new claims first. Once we are through those we can look at expired claims then any other new work in dare order.

10.08.20. to 14.08.20.

The issues with our IT systems seem to have been resolved so we were able to press on with our work. It is an ongoing push to keep on top of new claims, we feel over the coming months with the economic issues the country will be facing our workload will be going up so we need to keep on top of things. So we start each day checking for new housing benefit claims, then new council tax reduction ones. We then have our weekly allocation of Atlas and VEPs to do. Next we do our matched and some of our expired then hopefully have time to do some other new work, in date order.

03.08.20. to 07.08.20.

Work has gradually returned to normal now. So any new HB claims are the priority followed by new UC and CTR claims. We then have our weekly allocation of ATLAS and VEP cases to do. Monitoring for new claims each day once they are done we can get on with matched work, then expired pending followed by new work, in date order. We had a team meeting where we discussed various matters going forward and a technical issue which was starting to affect more and more staff, making the practicalities of doing the job difficult. We applied pressure to our senior manager to contact IT directly and hopefully this issue will be resolved shortly.

27.07.20. to 31.07.20.

I did not work Monday or Friday afternoon and was doing college work with on 2 days with more 'classroom from home' through 'go to meeting'. The other day and a half I did my share of this week's Atlas and my VEP tasks that were allocated. I then tried to do as much of the new claims I could in the time remaining.
