We continue to triage calls for the LWP team, then it is the normal work of new claims and new matched claims. Then my allocation of ATLAS and VEPs before looking at other matched, expired pending then other new work in date order.

I am still assisting the Local Welfare Provision Team taking calls for them 3 half days a week. It is difficult work dealing with people in most desperate need and also we are having to deal with seperate new schemes just brought in the Government and as an authority work out how to process and pay these to the correct people. I then continue with the standard work; new claims first. Then my weekly Atlas and VEP's followed by matched new claims. What time I have left I try to catch up on other matched, expired and other new work in date order.

I am continuing to do 3 half days a week triaging calls for the Local Welfare Provision Team. Whilst this can be somewhat relentless and stressfull it also gives me view of the difficulties facing a part of our customer base in these unprecedented times. I then continue with the standard work; new claims first. Then my weekly Atlas and VEP's followed by matched new claims. What time I have left I try to catch up on other matched, expired and other new work in date order.

This week I started new duties 3 sessions a week, either morning or afternoons. I will be triaging phone calls for assistance to the Local Welfare Provision team. I take the calls, see what help they require and get full details of their personal circumstances and finances, this information is then sent to the LWP team processors who call them back and make a decision on any help we can provide. As you can imagine in the current environment they are receiving a high volume of calls and so for those 3 sessions I am not doing any processing. Otherwise it is more of the same, staying on top of new claims and new matched work then processing my allocation of Atlas and VEPs. Any spare time I have left I try to catch up on other matched and expired work then any other new work in date order.
